Meet Julia Munck & Pia Dögl, the Creators of Hypnofly, an Innovative App Created for Mothers Navigating the Demands of Parenting
Q: What inspired you both to create Hypnofly, a bold new parenting app for stressed parents?
JM: Pia and I came together with a shared passion for transformation and emotional healing—paired with a desire to disrupt the wellness space for parents. My background is in tech leadership and digital product innovation—I’ve spent two decades building platforms that scale, from mobile games to virtual experiences. But after becoming a mom, I realized how little real support exists for parents who are juggling careers, caregiving, and inner growth. Hypnofly was our answer—a science-backed, intuitive self-healing tool that meets parents exactly where they are.
PD: I come from a background in modern hypnotherapy, education and psychology, and I’ve worked for three decades with parents struggling to regulate their emotions, break unhealthy cycles, and connect more deeply with their children. Julia and I realized that by combining my therapeutic expertise with her strength in user experience and conscious tech, we could build something radically different. Hypnofly was born from that vision—a pocket-sized transformation tool for emotionally intelligent parents ready to shift, fast.
Q: What’s unique and self-healing about Hypnofly compared to other wellness and parenting apps?
PD: Most apps offer advice or stress relief, but few work on the nervous system level. That’s what makes Hypnofly different—it uses guided self-healing hypnosis, emotional clearing, and neuroscience-informed practices to help parents release stress and rewire limiting beliefs. It’s like therapy, energy work, and intuitive coaching in one—without the waitlist or the hourly fee.
JM: And as someone who’s built digital products for millions of users, I knew we had to make Hypnofly feel as easy and intuitive as it is effective. Every feature—from our self-healing sessions and daily affirmations to the parenting oracle cards—is designed to be powerful, calming, and completely accessible. We’re not asking parents to “do more,” we’re offering them a path to feel better—fast.
Q: What do you love most about the work you do with Hypnofly?
JM: I love seeing how quickly Hypnofly helps people come back to themselves. As a product builder and entrepreneur, I’ve created a lot of digital experiences—but nothing compares to the impact we’re seeing here. People tell us they’re sleeping better, yelling less, feeling more connected to their kids. That’s real healing. That’s why we do this.
PD: Yes, the transformations are incredible. I’ve worked one-on-one with parents for years, but what we’ve built with Hypnofly moves the needle so much faster. It’s deeply fulfilling to know that in just a few guided sessions, people can shift emotional weight and find more calm, connection, and clarity.
Q: What motivates you both to keep going every day?
PD: I’m driven by the ripple effect. One healed parent creates a healthier home, stronger relationships, and more resilient children. That’s the power of emotional regulation—and Hypnofly makes that kind of transformation accessible to so many more families.
JM: For me, it’s about bridging intuitive wisdom with smart technology. My background is in creating products that scale, and now I get to apply that to something that actually changes lives. Every message from a parent who says, “This saved my sanity” or “I finally feel like myself again”—that’s why we keep building.
Q: How do you see Hypnofly helping parents in the future?
JM: We see Hypnofly becoming a daily go-to for parents who want more peace and presence in their lives. Whether it’s resetting after a meltdown, clearing emotional baggage, or deepening their connection to themselves, this app is designed to grow with them.
PD: And we’re just getting started. Our future vision includes deeper healing journeys, personalized support, and new tools for emotional freedom. Hypnofly is here to help parents thrive—not just survive—and we truly believe that healing the parent is the first step to healing the world.
Q: What advice would you give to young women who want to succeed in the workplace?
JM: Own your brilliance. Advocate for yourself the way you would for someone you love. Ask for more responsibility, more pay, more opportunities. And don’t fall into the trap of thinking you have to be “like the guys” to lead. Emotional intelligence, empathy, and collaboration are not just soft skills, they’re superpowers.
PD: Bring your full self into every room. I spent years thinking I had to lead with logic to be respected, but the truth is, our feminine wisdom is our strength. Trust your intuition. Speak your truth. Lead with compassion. It’s time to redefine success on your terms. Everything you’ve overcome. That’s not your weakness, it’s your excellence.
Q: At the start of your career, what do you wish you had known?
JM: I wish I had known that my intuition was one of my greatest assets. Overthinking and perfectionism were my default modes for years. I’d tell my younger self to speak up earlier, take more risks, and trust the inner knowing.
PD: That self-doubt is just fear in disguise—and it doesn’t belong at the decision-making table. I wish I’d known that being different was a superpower, not a liability. The more I embraced my voice and vision, the more doors opened.
Q: Which woman inspires you and why?
JM: Oprah Winfrey. She’s turned vulnerability into influence and made healing mainstream. Her ability to stay grounded while building an empire is endlessly inspiring.
PD: Brené Brown. Her work on shame and vulnerability gave me the language and courage to bring more honesty into my practice and my parenting. She’s made emotional courage cool—and that’s everything.
Q: What advice would you give to young women who want to pursue their dream and start a business?
JM: Start messy. Clarity comes from action, not waiting. You don’t need a perfect plan, you need passion, consistency, and a willingness to fail forward.
PD: Surround yourself with mentors who reflect the future you’re stepping into.
And remember—fear and excitement may feel similar in your body, but there’s a key difference:
Fear is heavy, tight, and often holds you back, causing hesitation and resistance. It wants you to retreat.
Excitement, however, feels light, energizing, and draws you forward with curiosity. It’s a call to action.
When you feel that surge of energy, pause and tune in—if it’s propelling you toward growth, lean in.
You were made for this. Keep moving forward.
Q: Can you tell our audience one of your most memorable moments of your career?
JM: Launching Hypnofly. It’s the first time I’ve felt like every part of me—tech visionary, mom, healer—came together in one mission. Seeing real transformations happen daily is beyond fulfilling.
PD: Hearing from a mom who said one of our hypnosis sessions saved her from spiraling during a panic attack. She said, ‘I remembered to breathe. I remembered I’m safe.’ That’s when I knew this work was life changing.
